HousekeeperMIAMI GARDENS, FL 33054OverviewPosition Type Full Time Category EducationSt. Thomas University - Physical PlantThe Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned areas on campus, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and dormitories. This position helps ensure a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, and vacuum floorsClean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floorsEmpty trash and recycling bins and replace linersDust furniture, window sills, and other surfacesRestock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)Clean windows, walls, and doors as neededReport any maintenance issues or safety hazardsFollow all safety and cleaning protocolsAssist with event setup and cleanup when requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plusAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periodsMust be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a teamMust be able to follow written and verbal instructionsFlexible shifts available. May include evenings or weekends based on campus needs.
