Housekeeper PositionWe are looking for a Housekeeper for our Meadow Woods Assisted Living in Bloomington, MN. This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors.This Housekeeper role schedule includes:80 hours per two weeksDay shiftNo weekendsAs part of the Martin Luther Campus Senior Community, Meadow Woods Assisted Living is a residential setting by woodlands, wetlands, mall of America, and the Minnesota River Bluffs. Our 113 unit assisted, independent and memory care buildings are located in East Bloomington, MN near public transportation. Our staff encourages participation in the many regularly scheduled activities and lifelong learning programs. Managed by Ebenezer we believe their mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.Responsibilities:Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned.Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors.Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time.Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed.Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident's individualized housekeeping needs.Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment.Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturerConsistently follows safe body mechanicsDemonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc.Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner.Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis.Safeguards others' well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use.Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked.Communicates need for equipment repairs.Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout requirements per policy.Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed.Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise.Required Qualifications:Less than 1 year of experienceAbility to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma orGED1 to 3 years of experienceExperience utilizing software programs such as Educare or TELS in order to complete necessary job functionsBenefit Overview:Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
