Job description

Job TitleThis position is located in Norman area. JOB SUMMARY: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the Sarah and John Graves Center during business hours.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Continually clean public spaces: waiting rooms, hallways, staff kitchens, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that the facility's remain orderly, attractive and clean, Ensure the furniture is placed in proper arrangement in all lobbies, meeting rooms and offices. Transport trash and waste to disposal areas. Responds to all biohazard substances and disposes of them properly. Receives and stocks storage closets with cleaning and paper supplies. Cleans furniture and equipment if soiled during business hours. During periods of inclement weather, dry mop first floor lobby. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture to remove spills/stains which occur during business hours. Clean windows on entry doors. Replace light bulbs in lobby lamps as required.ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES: Trauma Informed Co-Occurring Capable Recovery Oriented Culturally CompetentESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS: Additional assignments are assumed willingly. Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with other personnel and/or service providers or professionals. Utilizes agency technology and attends training on updates and/or new applications. Promotes team building through encouragement, support, shared decision-making, and the seeking of synergistic results. Utilizes supervision appropriately and willingly participates in training, demonstrating a desire for learning and professional development. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Partners with and openly communicates and collaborates with department associates, program managers, and other staff associates Demonstrates excellent customer service both internal and external Openly supports departmental and organizational changes. Participates in identifying continuous improvement areas within department or agency, and presents possible solutions. Consistently produces quality work. Utilizes necessary knowledge and skills to perform the job, keeping current with new and best practices. Attends and participates in required department and agency meetings and trainings.QUALIFICATIONS: Requires ability to work with the public, ability to maintain an effective working relationship with agency employees, ability to maintain a professional manner at all times and ability to maintain confidentiality. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not exclude any applicant; however all employees are subject to the Family & Children's Services Drug Free Workplace Policy.
