Mountain Youth Academy is seeking a part-time housekeeper to join our growing team! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!!

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment in accordance with infection control standards and hospital policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas
Properly sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the building
Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper products, and trashbags
Use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment safely according to OSHA and hospital guidelines.
Follow proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Must have the ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions
High school education or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping experience preferred
This position is Friday-Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm.
