Job description
HousekeeperThe Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility are kept in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. This role directly supports resident comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.Responsibilities:Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks throughout the facility consistently and thoroughlySweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strip, and shampoo floor surfaces as neededClean and dust furniture, fixtures, vents, closets, and common areasSanitize sinks, countertops, stainless steel surfaces, and waste receptaclesEmpty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste, including transporting medical waste as directedMaintain adequate supplies of paper goods and housekeeping materialsClean windows and walls, including removal of draperies and rugs when requiredUse deodorizers appropriately to maintain a fresh and pleasant environmentGather, clean, and return housekeeping equipment and supplies to designated areas dailyFollow all infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines for handling hazardous or infectious materialsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safety practicesAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and time management skillsJob Info:Job Identification Job Category FacilityDegree Level High School GraduateJob Schedule Full timeLocations 169 Medical Dr, Pearsall, TX, 78061, US (On-site)Work Days : Variable Shift
