Housekeeper (Environmental Aide) – Full Time and Part Time AvailableRiverMead is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Full-time or Part-time. As a Housekeeper (Environmental Aide), you play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to the well-being of others.Rotating laundry weekend shifts (typically every 4–6 weeks)$1.50/hour weekend differential from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at midnight.About RiverMeadRiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service LifeCare Community located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. We are dedicated to providing exceptional services and amenities to our residents while fostering a supportive, compassionate, and team-oriented workplace.We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Retirement savings plan with a 6% employer matchGenerous paid time off program with up to 360 hours of PTO rolloverA positive and encouraging work environmentResponsibilitiesPerform daily and routine housekeeping duties in apartments, cottages, healthcare rooms, and all common areas in accordance with established policies and proceduresClean and sanitize bathrooms, mop floors, vacuum, dust, and maintain overall cleanlinessComplete annual deep cleanings of apartments and cottagesMaintain adequate supplies in shared bathrooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, tissues)Pick up, deliver, and change bed linens in apartments and cottagesKeep work areas and housekeeping carts clean, organized, and fully stockedEnsure equipment is in good working order and report supply needs or equipment repairs to the Team Leader or Director of HousekeepingQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of three months of housekeeping experience required; healthcare experience preferredAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to read and understand instructions, memos, and manualsStrong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with individuals of all ages, especially older adultsWhy Choose RiverMead?
