Housekeeper/Room AttendantJacksonville, FloridaJob Title: Housekeeper / Room AttendantEmployment Type: Full-Time / Immediate StartLocation: Jacksonville Beach (32250) & SouthsidePay: $15.00 per hourSchedule: Flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required based on hotel needsJob Summary: We are seeking highly motivated Housekeepers/Room Attendants. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while delivering excellent customer service. The role combines physical activity, attention to detail, professionalism, security awareness, and adherence to hotel procedures. Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality and take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.Key Responsibilities:Clean and tidy guest rooms according to company and hotel standardsMake beds, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, and maintain overall room cleanliness and presentationRestock guest room amenities, linens, towels, and supplies as requiredInspect rooms for cleanliness, safety, and readiness for incoming guestsReport maintenance concerns, damages, lost-and-found items, or safety issues to the appropriate departmentFollow established safety, security, sanitation, and housekeeping proceduresProvide professional and courteous service when interacting with guests and assist with basic guest needs or concernsProtect guest privacy and hotel property by following all security and access proceduresWork efficiently to complete assigned rooms and tasks within required timeframesSupport team members and other housekeeping duties as business needs requireRequired Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessAbility to work efficiently in a physically active environmentExcellent communication, teamwork, and customer-service skillsProfessional and dependable work habitsAbility to follow instructions, safety procedures, and hotel protocolsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications:Previous housekeeping, room attendant, hotel, janitorial, or similar cleaning experience preferredPrevious hospitality or guest-service experience is a plusCore Competencies Housekeeping, Room Cleaning, Guest Service, Attention to Detail, Hospitality, Safety Procedures, Time Management, Teamwork, Reliability, Professionalism, Guest Privacy, Problem ResolutionDuties may adapt to meet evolving business needs.
