Westminster Woods On Julington Creek HousekeeperOur Life Plan Community, Westminster Woods on Julington Creek, is situated in a beautiful waterfront setting that offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located less than five miles from the I-295/San Jose Boulevard exit, the community provides easy access to Jacksonville's surrounding areas. We are proud to be recognized for excellence in senior care from Governor's Gold Seal Award, U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Homes for Rehab 2026, U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Homes for Long-Term Care 2026, and Newsweek, America's Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities 2026.We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper. Job duties include cleaning residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.Schedule: full-time, 7a-3p, Monday-FridayHOUSEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES:Cleans residential units, resident's rooms and common areas (including stairwells) of assigned work areas.Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.Send or bring "protectors" to the laundry area after being used by residents during each meal.Maintain dining areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.HOUSEKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS:High school education or equivalentOne-month related experience or trainingWorking with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.Westminster offers a supportive, mission-driven environment where team members are valued and actively supported in their professional growth and career development.
