Job description
HousekeeperWe are seeking a dependable, caring, and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member to join our long-term care facility. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.Position ResponsibilitiesClean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility spaces.Perform routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.Follow established infection-control and sanitation procedures.Properly handle cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.Remove and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents.Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor.Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other facility departments.Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with dignity, kindness, and respect.QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting as required.Compassionate and respectful attitude toward older adults and individuals receiving long-term care.What We OfferCompetitive payMedical, Dental, Vision, AFLAC401K with company matchHoliday Pay, Vacation Pay, Sick Pay, and Differential PayTraining and ongoing supportA rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residentsIf you take pride in your work and would enjoy being part of a team that helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents, we would love to hear from you!
