EOE/M/F/D/VOverview:Performs various tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the unit and resident roomsPrior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Be alert and active in supporting The Village's commitment to safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents' rightsVacuum rooms with carpetingSweep and mop tile floorsClean bathroom sinks, showers, baths, and toiletsClean mirrorsMove furniture as needed to permit cleaningChange bedding, including turning of mattressesParticipates actively in team efforts to maintain a high level of cleanlinessFollows isolation and infection control proceduresWatches out for residents' personal items to ensure they are not lost or misplacedAssists with housemen's duties as needed, including trash removal, floor care, furniture moving, supply deliveries, and other environmental services support tasks to help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the communityAdditional duties assigned by management
