Every day you will clean and maintain assigned areas of the hospital in a sanitary and orderly way. You will be expected to promote a clean and healthy environment for all employees, patients and guests. To be successful in this role, you must be committed to social justice, health equity and prepared to deliver cleanliness in new and innovative ways.Daily Patient Room Cleaning: Disinfects and cleans all surfaces, fixtures, and furniture, wet and dry mops floors, and properly disposes of garbageWeekly Patient Room Responsibilities: Moves furniture for cleaning, dusts all surfaces (including windows, vents, and lights), cleans/disinfects garbage cans, and replaces suppliesCommon Area Maintenance: Daily duties include cleaning hall handrails, vacuuming carpets, dusting hallway floors, and weekly wet mopping, with daily cleaning/disinfection of public bathroomsIsolation Protocol Adherence: Practices strict infection control, properly disposes of isolation room waste, uses a fresh mop head per room, and utilizes color-coded cleaning ragsClinic Daily Routines: Disinfects and cleans all bathroom and treatment room fixtures/floors, vacuums carpets, and properly disposes of both regular and red bag garbageAs-Needed & Monthly Tasks: Includes cleaning fans, replacing sharps containers, spot cleaning walls, shampooing chairs, cleaning AC filters, doors/trim, and replacing divider curtainsRequired:Ability to understand and complete written and verbal instructionsCHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a Level V Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Turtle Lake area and surrounding communities since 1952. Through the years, the hospital has sought to continually upgrade the quality and numbers of services it provides. The hospital's affiliation with major medical centers and health care agencies has allowed it to expand its health care services through a network that begins at the local level. CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is equipped with 2 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services.
