Job description
HousekeeperHousekeepers perform basic indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and removing trash. They often work in teams to provide neat and safe environments for residents, staff, students, faculty, and guests in assigned areas. They act in accordance with University and division standards and procedures. Work is assigned at the task level and is routinely monitored.Perform daily housekeeping services in assigned areas, including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and other assigned tasks.Maintain clean and orderly housekeeping closets and equipment and keep inventories of supplies, requesting additional supplies as needed.Report all repairs and pest control needs.Report any housekeeping-related violations by residents, guests, or staff.In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: None Licensure: None Additional Requirements Background checks will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment.Location This position is based in Wise, Virginia, situated in the far southwestern corner of the state near the Kentucky and Tennessee borders.
