HousekeepingWarehouse - Yuba City, CA 95991OverviewSalary Range $24.76 - $33.17 Hourly Position Type Per DiemDescriptionGeneral Purpose: Under maintenance operations manager supervision, the housekeeping staff performs all cleaning and sanitizing of clinics. Including floors, walls, desks, phones, bathrooms, kitchens, empty trash inside and outside.Main Responsibilities & DutiesSanitizing furniture, door handles, light switches, bathrooms, and other building fixtures dailySweep and damp mop all floors daily.Empty trash receptacles daily and replace bags as necessary.Clean up bodily fluids as necessary.Plunge toilets as needed.Keep track and order supplies as needed.Vacuum all carpeted areas daily.Clean inside and outside windows as needed.Restock soap and hand towels as needed.Spot clean carpet as needed.Documents their schedules of cleaning via check of listOther duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualities & CharacteristicsMaintains a professional relationship and positive attitude with co-workers, the public, patients and all Ampla Health's staff, Board of Directors, and vendorsMaintains the highest professional ethics and is honest in dealing with people; is a model for all employees through his/her actionsStrives to learn more and is receptive to learning different ways of doing thingsDisplays enthusiasm toward the work and the mission of Ampla HealthProfessional Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesGood Communication skillsKnowledge of proper cleaning solutionsAbility to maintain good relationship with management staffAbility to operate all types of cleaning tools.Be able to safely use cleaning chemicals.Communications SkillsMust have neat and legible handwritingMust be able to interact with patients courteously and calmlyAbility to communicate well with the publicPhysical RequirementsWorks well with patients in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirements:Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, and twistMust be able to hear staff on phone and speak clearly to communicate informationMust be able to climb a ladder.Must be able to work safely inside buildings.Must be prepared to drive to any clinic to perform a specific task.
