HousekeepingSalary Range $24.76 - $33.17 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionAmpla Health provides the individuals and communities we serve with high quality, comprehensive, community health care that is accessible to all and culturally and linguistically appropriate.Great Benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision4 weeks paid time off to start.9 paid holidays401k and profit sharingFull time, Monday to FridayGreat work/home life balanceGENERAL PURPOSE:Under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager, the Housekeeping Staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout Ampla Health clinics, including floors, walls, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and interior/exterior trash areas.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Sanitize furniture, door handles, light switches, bathrooms, and other fixtures daily.Sweep, damp mop, and vacuum floors and carpeted areas daily.Empty trash receptacles and replace bags as needed.Safely clean bodily fluids and unclog toilets as necessary.Clean interior and exterior windows and spot-clean carpets as needed.Restock soap, hand towels, and other cleaning supplies.Monitor and order supplies as needed.Maintain cleaning schedules and complete required checklists.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS:Maintains a professional, positive, and courteous relationship with co-workers, patients, the public, Ampla Health staff, Board of Directors, and vendors.Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.Willing to learn and adapt to different methods and procedures.Demonstrates enthusiasm for the position and Ampla Health's mission.PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Good communication skills.Knowledge of proper cleaning solutions and safe chemical use.Ability to maintain positive relationships with management and staff.Ability to safely operate various cleaning tools and equipment.COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS:Must have neat and legible handwriting.Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly.Ability to communicate effectively with the public.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, and twist.Must be able to hear staff on the phone and speak clearly to communicate information.Must be able to climb a ladder.Must be able to work safely inside buildings.Must be prepared to drive to any Ampla Health clinic to perform assigned tasks.
