Job description
Housekeeping AideThe primary purpose of this position is to perform daily housekeeping activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This role supports maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment as directed by the Administrator and/or Director of Housekeeping.Preferred QualificationsStrong attention to detailGood communication skillsMust-Have RequirementsExperience working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility preferredFlexibility with schedulingJob DescriptionComplete daily cleaning routines in residential rooms, hallways, dining areas, lobbies, sitting areas, and officesBuff and wax floors; vacuum and shampoo various types of carpetingClean wheelchairs, med-carts, and other facility equipmentTransport and deliver linens throughout the facilityJob ResponsibilitiesFollow assigned cleaning schedules as closely as possibleReport all accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately during the same shiftCoordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff in resident living and recreational areasPerform resident room and discharge cleaning, including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixturesReplenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies as neededKeep housekeeping carts stocked and organizedComplete daily project and assignment schedulesWe Are Proud to OfferCompetitive pay rates401(k) Retirement PlanHealthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision)Paid Time Off (PTO)
