Housekeeping And Laundry DirectorPomeroy Living, a leading senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping And Laundry Director to lead our environmental services team. You will be instrumental in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Management:Oversee and manage all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations.Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new housekeeping and laundry staff.Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed.Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.Manage the department budget, including procurement of supplies and equipment.Maintain accurate records, including monthly purchase logs and weekly reports.Environmental Services & Sanitation:Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and laundry services in resident rooms, common areas, and staff spaces.Develop and implement cleaning protocols and schedules, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.Qualifications:Proven experience in housekeeping and/or laundry management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Ability to pass a 50-pound lift test.Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including infection control practices.Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Paid Time Off - start accruing day one of orientation.Paid Holidays.Access up to 50% of your earned pay DAILY!Flexible scheduling.Company-paid Life insurance for FT staff.Priority Health Medical, Delta Dental, and Vision Insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Career advancement opportunities.If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for creating a clean and comfortable environment for seniors, we encourage you to apply!
