Housekeeping AttendantFor over 180 years, Chetola Resort has offered guests a timeless mountain escape in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Under new ownership, we are embracing an exciting new chapter rooted in thoughtful renewal, authentic elegance, and exceptional guest service.Chetola Resort is seeking dependable and detail-oriented full-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our growing team. We are hiring for full-time positions (30+ hours per week). In this role, you will support the cleanliness and presentation of both the Lodge and our luxury Condominiums. Housekeeping Attendants play a vital role in ensuring that each guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that reflects Chetola's high standards of service and hospitality. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a noticeable impact each day. Weekend availability is required, and holiday availability is preferred.What You'll DoClean guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to resort standardsReplenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other room amenitiesEnsure all assigned spaces are clean, organized, and guest-readyReport maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate departmentHandle guest requests with courtesy and professionalismWork collaboratively with other Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Maintenance team membersFollow daily task lists and cleaning schedules provided by the Housekeeping ManagerMaintain open communication with supervisors regarding room status and supply needsAdhere to property policies, procedures, and confidentiality expectationsFollow all safety and sanitation protocols, including use of PPE and cleaning chemicalsMaintain housekeeping carts, closets, and workspaces in a tidy and secure mannerUphold standards of cleanliness that reflect Chetola's luxury reputationRequirementsA reliable and hardworking team player who takes pride in a job well doneHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsFriendly and respectful with guests, coworkers, and supervisorsAble to work independently and follow directions consistentlySeeking candidates for full-time roles (30+ hours/week)Weekend availability required; holiday availability preferredPrevious housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not requiredPhysical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds and push housekeeping cartsCommitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfactionJoin a trusted and beloved destination resort with a deep history and strong future.
