Job description
Housekeeping AttendantThe Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. This includes but is not limited to:Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areasChanging linens and making bedsVacuuming and dustingRestocking supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paperRemoving trash and dirty linensReporting any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnelSafely lift a minimum of 60-70 lbs.Cleaning Carts, Closets and Laundry Chutes.Assist in Laundry Operations when scheduled.Assist in cleaning lobby bathrooms and public areas when scheduled.Clean and Clear all Hallways assigned and service landings assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrior housekeeping experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of timeFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
