Housekeeping(Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available) We are seeking a dedicated and professional housekeeper to join the Jungle Jim's team! You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, scrubbing and sanitizing throughout our retail store and offices. Attention to detail and experience with customer assistance and service are required. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of productsPerform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of concrete, hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as neededIn charge of vacuuming equipment; vacuum and clean carpets and perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as neededDispose of trash from bins and containersDust and polish furniture and room accessories as neededScrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets in private and public bathroomsScrub sinks, counters and other surfaces in employee breakrooms and kitchensMaintain and replenish supplies and consumables in all bathrooms and kitchensClean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as neededKeep all public spaces neat and tidyReport repairs and replacements needed when encounteredRequirementsWeekend, evening and holiday availability requiredAbility to lift up to 25 to 30 poundsPhysically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of timePrevious experience cleaning preferred; training will be providedAbility to assist customers and guests when neededPays attention to detail when cleaningOrganized and able to follow a scheduleAbility to follow verbal directionsBenefitsCompetitive payEmployee Discount: 10% at 60 days, 20% at two yearsPaid vacation time starting at six months (Full-Time only)Health, Life, Vision, and Dental Insurance at 60 days (Full-Time only)401(k)Many opportunities for advancement!
