Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesRoom & Public Area CleanlinessClean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to IHG brand standards.Replenish room amenities (towels, toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.) and ensure rooms are guest-ready.Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used correctly and safely.Report any maintenance issues or lost/found items immediately.Guest Service & SupportGreet guests politely when encountered in rooms or hallways.Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests (e.g., extra linen, toiletries, room servicing).Respect guest privacy at all times and adhere to "Do Not Disturb" protocols.Provide clear, simple directions or assistance when needed.Brand, Safety & SustainabilityFollow all health and safety protocols, including use of PPE and chemical handling.Contribute to the hotel's sustainability goals by minimizing water and chemical waste.Uphold IHG cleanliness standards, especially IHG Clean Promise protocols.Use housekeeping systems (manual/digital) to mark task completion or report issues.Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow instructions.Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on feet for extended hours.Basic English communication skills.Core CompetenciesAttention to Detail: Delivers spotless, well-prepared rooms consistently.Efficiency: Works with speed and care to meet room turnaround times.Respect & Teamwork: Maintains respectful behavior with guests and colleagues.Adaptability: Adjusts quickly to guest requests and business needs.Ownership: Takes responsibility for cleanliness and guest satisfaction.What We OfferCompetitive wages and duty meals.IHG hotel discounts and benefits.Uniform and laundry service.On-the-job training and career growth opportunities.Inclusive, supportive workplace culture with a focus on True Hospitality.
