Housekeeping HousepersonMake a Difference. Help Every Stay Shine.At Hotel Shattuck Plaza, a comfortable and welcoming stay starts with the care our team puts into every detail. From clean public spaces to well-stocked linen rooms, your work helps keep our historic hotel ready for every guest.We are looking for an independent, team-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming while supporting those around you, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoSupport Room Attendants, replenish supplies, perform minor room maintenance, and keep public areas clean throughout the hotel.Housekeeping Support & SuppliesCollect dirty linen from Room Attendants' carts throughout the day, ensuring linen is never left in hallways.Restock assigned linen rooms according to par levels established by the Executive Housekeeper.Empty trash from Room Attendants' carts and replace trash bags promptly.Help Room Attendants keep the supplies they need available and organized.Public Areas & CleanlinessKeep public areas clean, orderly, and welcoming.Clean assigned stairwells, including stair railings, and vending areas.Help maintain a neat and organized environment throughout assigned areas.Room Care & MaintenancePerform minor room maintenance and repairs.Complete on-the-spot cosmetic maintenance as part of daily room inspections.Safety & TeamworkStay alert to the safety of guests and team members, reporting unsafe conditions to your immediate supervisor.Arrive on time and in complete uniform, including your name tag, as directed by your supervisor.Work independently while coordinating with the Housekeeping team to complete daily assignments.What Makes You a Great FitWe're looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to details, and enjoys supporting a team.Preferred QualificationsPrevious hotel experience preferred.Why You'll Love Working at Hotel Shattuck PlazaCompetitive wages and benefits, including life insurance, commuter benefits, a 401(k), and Employee Assistance Programs.Convenient location one block from Downtown Berkeley BART, with nearby AC Transit access.Hotel discounts within our portfolio.Free food during shifts and a 50% food discount during off hours.Growth and training opportunities.Ready to Apply?If this sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear from you!Radiate Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer - we welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.
