Job description
Housekeeping PositionThis position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public spaces and stocking housekeeping supplies. Assists housekeepers and guests as needed by providing friendly, courteous and professional service, including adherence to health regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.· AM/Morning Shift· Responsible for cleaning hotel public spaces· Stocks housekeeping supplies and linen· Responsible for delivering housekeeping related items to guest rooms· Accountable for guest satisfaction as it pertains to housekeeping service at the property· Assists and responds to requests in a positive and timely manner while providing the highest level of quality service to the guest· Works as a team player and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments as necessary· Understands and follows the company guest service recovery program· Ensures a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state and federal regulations· Reports all maintenance needs and service issues· Knowledgeable on the safe use of chemicals utilized within the housekeeping department· Follows all company procedures for guest/employee incidents· Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures· Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties· Adheres to the company attendance policy, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures· Attends all required department and hotel meetings· Responsible for proper use of all equipment and suppliesEducation: High school diploma or GED preferredExperience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Housekeeping/laundry experience preferredAttention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environmentMaintains predictable and reliable attendanceAbility to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shiftAbility to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periodsCSM Corporation is an equal opportunity employer who provides employment opportunities to qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other area prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.CSM Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package to all regular full-time employees, designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees.
