Job description
Housekeeping InspectorThe Inspector ensures standards are met by auditing guest rooms, public areas, and amenities for cleanliness and safety. The Inspector verifies that rooms are properly prepared for arrivals, reports maintenance issues, monitors staff performance, and ensures compliance with brand standards to maintain a positive guest experience.Inspect guest rooms following highest quality standardsVerifies that rooms and residences are staged and prepared for guest arrivalReports maintenance needs accordinglyMonitors and helps with the creation of daily housekeeping boards/assignmentsAssists with performing inventory of linen and suppliesEnsures employees are using/handling cleaning chemicals safelyOn occasion and during off season will be required to clean roomsAbility to remain standing for up to 10 hoursAbility to move up and down stairsAbility to move quickly based on guest needsAbility to regularly move and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places.Ability to observe conditions and detect odorsAbility to notice and inspect small detailsAbility to position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spacesAbility to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dustersAbility to communicate and exchange information effectivelyAbility to read, write, speak, and understand basic EnglishAbility to complete a satisfactory background checkAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requiresAlice (PMS)PhoneComputer and PrinterWork will primarily take place in a resort environment including guest rooms and residences1+ years of hotel housekeeping or inspection experienceDemonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsMust know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion.
