Job description
Room AttendantRoom Attendants are responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel including guest rooms, hallways, and all public areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards and hotel procedures. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict additional tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed at management's discretion.Requirements:Good customer service skillsAbility to work independently and with othersGood communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to frequently lift/carry up to 15 lbs.Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 35 lbs.Ability to multi taskDisplays good initiativeEssential Duties include:Provide a clean and safe environment for guestsProactively maintain assigned areas and equipmentClean, dust, vacuum common areas and rooms according to brand and hotel procedures.Change bed linens, clean bathrooms, replenish amenities according to brand standards and guest requests.Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely mannerUse supplies efficientlyStock cart properly with room suppliesReport any safety and housekeeping concerns to managementAttend and participate in all mandatory trainingsFlexible with schedule and assignmentsKnowledge and completion of property cleaning proceduresMaintain effective performance under pressureFollow proper procedures for lost and found itemsFollow guest safety proceduresFollow guest requests, e.g., do not disturb signs, change of linen or terryAcknowledge and greet guests in public spacesReview daily inventory of supplies needed to complete assignmentsMay perform additional duties as requested by supervisor
