Housekeeping RoleThe Housekeeping role at a Pikeville, KY hotel is an hourly position within the hospitality/restaurant industry. This individual contributor role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all areas within the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back of house areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude.Compensation & Benefits: The Housekeeping position at VP Management offers a competitive hourly wage paid biweekly. In addition, employees will have the opportunity to receive benefits and potential for advancement within the company.Responsibilities:Clean and maintain guest rooms according to company standards, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizingEnsure all public spaces and back of house areas are clean and well-maintainedStock and replenish supplies in rooms and common areasFollow proper safety and sanitation proceduresReport any maintenance issues or safety hazards to managementAssist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as neededMaintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guestsRequirements:Previous housekeeping experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesAvailable to work weekends and holidays as neededPhysical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 25 poundsMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningEEOC Statement: VP Management is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all employees.
