Job description
Room AttendantWe are looking for dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will help ensure every guest room is clean, comfortable, and ready for arriving guests. Your work plays an important part in creating a great experience for our guests.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain assigned guest rooms and suites each dayStrip and make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and restock room suppliesCheck that room features such as lights, television, and appliances are working properlyReport missing items or maintenance issues to the supervisorFollow proper safety procedures while performing housekeeping dutiesMaintain guest privacy, safety, and security while servicing roomsTurn in all lost and found items to the housekeeping office immediatelyCommunicate with supervisors and team members to ensure rooms are cleaned on timeJob RequirementsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessAbility to follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesDependable and able to work independently or as part of a teamWillingness to work in a fast-paced hospitality environmentPrior housekeeping or hotel experience is helpful but not requiredHigh school diploma preferredAdditional language skills are a plusAbility to lift, push, or pull at least 20 poundsFrequent standing, bending, stretching, and reachingAbility to perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shiftComfortable using housekeeping equipment and suppliesPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, or pull at least 20 poundsFrequent standing, bending, stretching, and reachingAbility to perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shiftComfortable using housekeeping equipment and suppliesWhy Join Our Team?Supportive and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to grow within the hospitality industryBe part of a trusted and recognized hotel brandHomewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Southpointe is an equal opportunity employer.
