This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job SummaryTo clean, supply and provide adequate par stock for linen and supplies for the floors pantries as per hotel requirements standards, to actively assist in maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and surroundings.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAttend daily briefing at the beginning of each shiftUnderstand resort standards and procedures required to carry out daily tasksTo follow the resort room key control policyEnsure that adequate linens and guest supplies are available in the pantries and that the linen shelves are neatly stocked with linen and suppliesEnsure that room attendants are supplied with adequate cleaning products, supplies and equipmentCollection and disposal of garbage, recycling, linen, and any other disposed items in assigned areasUse and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment as per resort standardsClean all guest corridors, garden borders, empty ashtrays, mirrors railings and other areas in the guest areasAssist in placing and removing extra beds and cribs to and from guest roomsPrompt reporting of lost and found items to the housekeeping officeReport any maintenance defects and safety hazards to the housekeeping officeAssist in inventory of linen and suppliesUnderstand how to service rooms to be able to assist when neededUnderstand how to operate linen room to be able to assist when neededHave thorough knowledge of the layout of the guest rooms and corridors, and all HK storage spaces with what they holdFollow resort health and safety policies and proceduresAssist with all other duties as assignedWork as scheduled to a rotating roster will include morning shift, afternoon and evening shift and overnight shifts, this will also include weekends and public holidaysSkills, Experience & Educational RequirementsStrong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, ability to work unsupervised, strong customer focus, strong communication skillsBenefitsFull-Time Year-Round Medical insurance - 80% of premium paid by employer Health Savings Account with $50 employer contribution per pay period Dental, vision & life insurance - 100% of premium paid by employer 5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off) 8 paid holidays Uniform provided & complimentary laundering Complimentary transportation to/from resort Complimentary meal per shift Subsidized housing based on availability Discounts at F&B outlets on property 14 nights per year at $100/night* at Kerzner Properties worldwide Winter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membership Seasonal Uniform provided & complimentary laundering Complimentary transportation to/from resort Complimentary meal per shift Subsidized housing based on availability Discounts at F&B outlets on property Winter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
