Housekeeper II at Reedsburg Area Medical CenterReedsburg Area Medical Center is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Housekeeper II. This hands-on role includes a variety of responsibilities, from routine cleaning and floor care to special projects and security support, all while helping create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone who enters our facility.This position fills in for Security when needed.Schedule:Hours:6 AM-2:30 PMRotating weekends and HolidaysIf filling in for Security: 8PM-6:30AMWhat you'll do:The Housekeeper II performs specialized housekeeping duties and projects to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. This position also assists with general security responsibilitiesEducation and Training Required:High school diploma or equivalent.Valid Wisconsin driver's license.Previous housekeeping experience preferred.Carpet and floor maintenance experience preferred.Previous security experience helpful.Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Be dependable and comfortable working independently.Have strong verbal and written communication skills.Be able to organize tasks, establish priorities, and solve problems independently.Be comfortable operating cleaning and floor-care equipment.Have strong teamwork and customer service skills.Be able to understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions.Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment.Physical Requirements:Continuous walkingFrequent standing while performing tasksFrequent lifting of up to 50 poundsFrequent pushing or pulling of up to 25 poundsOccasional climbing of stairs, ladders, and rampsOccasional bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, twisting, and balancingOccasional reaching overhead and in front of the bodyAbility to bend and shovel snow as neededFrequent use of equipment controls, levers, knobs, and switchesOccasional handling of equipment such as flashlights and security wandsPotential Hazards:OSHA Blood Borne/TB Classification Class II ???
