Housekeeping Team MemberAt the Summit Area YMCA, our team creates safe, welcoming spaces where our community can thrive. As part of our Housekeeping Team, you'll help ensure our members, guests, and staff enjoy a clean, comfortable, and safe environment. Your work supports the Y's mission of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.The Summit YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA (SAY), is seeking a dependable, energetic part-time Housekeeping Team Member who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping others.You May Be the Right Fit If You:Pay attention to detail and follow tasks through to completion.Work independently with minimal supervision.Are friendly, dependable, and work well with others.Take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.Take initiative and communicate concerns promptly.Have housekeeping experience or an interest in learning.What You'll Do:Clean and maintain lobbies, locker rooms, restrooms, fitness areas, and other shared spaces.Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, removing trash, and replenishing supplies.Safely use cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with training, OSHA requirements, and YMCA standards.Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and supply shortages.Assist with special cleaning projects and other housekeeping needs.Model YMCA values through friendly, respectful interactions with members, guests, and coworkers.Schedule & Compensation:This part-time position requires availability for both of the following shifts:Sunday: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.Monday: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.The pay range is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.Part-time employees enjoy a variety of YMCA benefits, including:Free YMCA membershipDiscounted YMCA family membershipProfessional training and development opportunities12% YMCA retirement contribution upon eligibilityAt the Summit Area YMCA, we are committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.
