Job description
Store Maintenance PositionMaintain cleanliness and safety of the entire store while giving exceptional guest service. They must also be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work independently.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDust, sweep, mop sales floor, restrooms and back offices.Follow OSHA guidelines in regard to chemical handling and usageEmpty trash throughout the store, warehouse and back office.Maintain pita bread throughout the day and box pita orders.Clean shelves and fixtures as neededAssist Front End team with bagging groceries if needed.Clean windows and mirrored surfaces, polish stainless steel.Work in a safe and responsible manner, cleaning spills in a timely manner.Maintain parking lots by bringing in shopping carts.Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.Support all departments as needed.Leadership may assign other duties, not listed here.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work in fast paced environment with a sense of urgencyStrong organizational skillsAbility to perform physical requirements of positionAbility to work well with othersAble to handle stressful situationsValues diversityAble to work flexible schedule based on needs of store including nights, weekends and holidaysAbility to follow instructions and proceduresQualificationsCustomer service focusedTeam orientedWorking ConditionsWalking, standing, bending and stooping for 8-10 hours a dayPush, pull up to 50lbsMental and physical dexterityAbility to climb laddersIteration of dutiesAbility to taste, smell, feel and visually inspect foodUnassisted lifting up to 50lbs or moreWork in varying temperatures
