Housekeeping Services SpecialistThe Housekeeping Services Specialist works under the general supervision of the Housekeeping Services Group Leader and performs hard surface and carpet cleaning procedures, wall washing, and upholstery cleaning. Processes waste and linen. Performs other support functions as assigned.Job Type: Full Time, 80 hours every two weeksShift Length: 3:30pm-12am (flexible start time if needed)Weekend Frequency: Every 5th weekendWage Range: $16.88- $23.64Want to know what it's like to work in Environmental Services at Holland Hospital? They continued to work hard and were an integral part of keeping the hospital clean and safe.Work tasks: Cleaning patient care areas, rest rooms, offices, and isolation rooms. Removing waste and soiled linens. Maintaining the housekeeping cart and restocking the housekeeping closet. While dealing with bodily fluids can be a part of the job, it happens a lot less than what outsiders think and is nothing like you see on TV! Patient interaction is a huge part of the job. Includes medical waste. Transports general waste from collection points to compactor. Transports medical waste from collection points to storage room. Transports clean and soiled linen in accordance with established policies and proceduresPerforms support functions as needed. Prepares conference center for meetings. Performs spills clean up.
