Job description
HousemanThe Houseman supports the Housekeeping team in cleaning with the removal, transporting linens, supplies, and equipment, picking up trash and/or debris found on site, assisting with deep cleaning projects, and maintaining public areas and back-of-house spaces in a neat and orderly condition.Responsibilities:Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areasRemove soiled linens and trash from guest floors and public spacesCollect trash and recyclables from guest rooms, hallways, and housekeeping carts, making sure they are disposed of properly according to hotel standards.Assist with deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and public areasMove furniture and set up rollaway beds, cribs, or cots as neededMaintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and service areasStock housekeeping closets and ensure equipment is in good working orderRespond to guest requests for additional items promptlyReport maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisorsRequirements:Ability to lift and move furniture and supplies up to 50 poundsBasic knowledge of cleaning and custodial tasksExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAvailability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
