Our culture is people-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented.The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.Duties & Responsibilities:Assure cleanliness of hotel grounds, entrances, storage facilities, trash areas, guest and back-of-house hallways, elevators, staircases, and guest roomsCommunicate efficiently with managers regarding maintenance issues, room damage, or missing propertyInteract with teammates and guests in a friendly and professional wayDeliver items to hotel guests as directedAssist with TV remotes, TV boxes, thermostats, jacuzzi tubs, light fixtures, phones, and moving furnitureSupport laundry and/or housekeeping departments when neededDistribute linen, housekeeping supplies, and room amenities properlyProperly stock carts with cleaning and paper suppliesAbility to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods timeAbility to lift, pull, and push moderate weightCarpet shampoo on daily basisAdditional tasks may be assigned at any given timeRequirementsQualifications:Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong task and time management abilitiesAbility to work independently and with a teamBenefits:Competitive salaryAnnual review with increase potential401k program with company matchMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance available to eligible employeesWellness benefits available to eligible employeesArbor Lodging focuses on Five Guiding Principles to foster a culture where growth, development, and progression thrive within the properties:Do the Right Thing - Operate and act with integrity in all you do even when it is not convenient.Lead with Heart - Be kind, passionate and hospitable.Be Accountable - Take ownership and deliver results.Aim Higher - Go above and beyond to exceed expectations and pursue thoughtful change.Celebrate Differences - Embrace diversity; respect individual opinions and ideas.Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
