Housekeeping Team MemberSome of our guests love being on the road but many travelers miss the comforts of home. The goal of our Housekeeping team is to make our hotel feel like just that, a home! As a House Person, your contribution helps ensure our guests have a comfortable, productive and memorable stay.We offer eligible employees a number of benefits to enhance their health and well-being:Group insurance, including medical, dental, vision and company-paid life insurancePaid time offCompany-matched 401(k) planVoluntary benefits including short term disability, long term disability, accident, life, critical illness and Flexible Spending AccountLife enrichment benefits including hotel benefits, employee assistance program, leadership development program and more!Get paid dailyResponsibilitiesClean public bathrooms, meeting rooms and other common areas of the hotel including removing trash, vacuuming, mopping and other necessary functions.Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.Deliver guest requested items as needed.Receive and put away deliveries while maintaining organization and cleanliness of storage areas.Accommodate special requests by guests and other employees quickly and professionally.Pick-up and deliver linen and supplies to Room Attendants.Patrol property picking up all trash and empty all waste receptacles.Assist with stripping/cleaning guest rooms, laundry, and kitchen duties as requested.Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items and, completing basic maintenance tasks.Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.QualificationsPrevious cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
