Job Title: Housing Specialist Alameda County / Multi-County Coverage
nLocation: Remote (Must reside in Alameda County only)

nPosition Overview:
nWe are seeking a compassionate, organized, and computer-savvy Housing Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates MUST reside in the county we serve and be able to perform light travel and driving as needed for housing-related appointments or community outreach within Alameda County. A real estate license is not required.
nResponsibilities:
nAssist individuals and families in locating, securing, and maintaining stable housing
nConduct virtual or in-person housing assessments and intake interviews
nCoordinate with landlords, property managers, and housing programs to secure housing opportunities
nMaintain accurate documentation and case notes using digital case management systems
nSupport clients in understanding rental agreements, housing responsibilities, and tenant rights
nConduct follow-ups to ensure ongoing housing stability
nCollaborate with internal team members and external partners to provide wraparound support services
nAttend occasional in-person meetings, property visits, or community events within the servicing county
nQualifications:
nMust reside in the servicing county
nValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally as needed
nStrong computer literacy and comfort using cloud-based platforms, databases, and communication tools
nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
nPassion for helping others and promoting community well-being
nPrior experience in social services, housing support, or case management is preferred but not required
