Provides for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes.Essential FunctionsTransferring client with a Hoyer LiftPersonal HygieneAmbulationEatingDressingShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Assisting with the change of ostomy appliances, Reinforcement of dressings, Medication reminders, Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises, Measuring and preparing special diets, Taking vital signs, Incontinence careService Areas: Lake Nona, Meadow Woods, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Poinciana, Reunion, Championsgate, Celebration and Four CornersQualificationsValid HHA Certificate or CNA LicenseCurrent CPR CertificateLevel II Background CheckHoyer Lift experienceValid Driver LicenseReliable CarActive Car InsurancePre-Employment Drug Screening: All candidates who are selected to move forward in the hiring process will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening. Employment is contingent upon receiving a negative drug test result.
