Job description
Axle is seeking an IT Specialist to join the NHLBI lab in Bethesda, MD, supporting the LoBoS computing cluster for in-house biomedical research. You will administer Linux systems, monitor performance, and develop ML approaches to accelerate scientific work.
The role requires a Master’s degree and at least five years in Linux system administration or HPC, with Red Hat Certification as a listed qualification. Strong scripting, LDAP, MPI, virtualization, containers, and Slurm experience are valued.
