HR AssistantThe HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, helping ensure efficient HR processes and a positive employee experience. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and general HR inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.Do you thrive in innovative, design-driven environments with a high level of both accountability and trust? This role in the Operations department will help grow and strengthen our team by providing excellent support in all aspects of human capital and business functions.What you'll do:Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new-hire onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientationsAssist in administration of performance management system (PerformYard)Maintain employee information in HRIS system (Paychex)Manage digital and physical employee personnel files according to policy and legal requirementsAssist with the recruitment process; including posting job openings and scheduling interviewsCompletion of employment verification and unemployment claimsOrganizing historical employee compensation and performance data to be used in performance management and compensation evaluationsHelp lead and provide insight to company engagement efforts regarding surveys and feedbackAssist in planning company events and maintaining a positive and productive culturePerform other administrative duties and special projects as assignedGrow and learn in your career as a human resource professionalRequirements:0-3 years of experience in HR or relevant role/educationBachelor's degree in a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work with sensitive/confidential information, in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Must be U.S. Citizen
