HR Benefits Assistant | Human ResourcesProSidian seeks a HR Benefits Assistant for program support on a contract basis. This position is located in Charlotte, NC, and supports the Mid Atlantic region.We seek candidates with relevant experience in the Government and Public Services sector to support professional services engagements. This is a benefits administration support position, but ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time position.Job Overview:Provide services and support as a Benefits Administration Support (HR Benefits Assistant) in the Government and Public Services Industry Sector focusing on human capital solutions for clients such as the City of Charlotte (COC) and the Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA).Responsibilities and Duties:Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.Maintain benefits records and update HRIS.Process benefits changes due to life events.Coordinate benefits orientations.Liaise with insurance providers on claims and issues.The role is located in the Mid Atlantic region, specifically at or near CONUS - Charlotte, NC. Initially identified work site address (subject to change or working remotely): 648 East 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202.Qualifications:Desired qualifications for HR Benefits Assistant candidates:Knowledge of benefits processes and HRIS tools.Education/Experience Requirements/Qualifications:High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's preferred.1–3 years HR or benefits support experience.Skills Required:Communication, attention to detail, customer service.Competencies Required:Discretion, empathy, policy adherence.Ancillary Details of the Roles:Supports annual open enrollment process.Tracks and reports benefits participation metrics.Other Details:Reports to Senior Benefits Administrator.Core competencies required:Teamwork – ability to foster teamwork collaboratively as a participant, and effectively as a team leaderLeadership – ability to guide and lead colleagues on projects and initiativesBusiness Acumen – understanding and insight into how organizations perform, including business processes, data, systems, and peopleCommunication – ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders of all levels orally and in writingMotivation – persistent in pursuit of quality and optimal client and company solutionsAgility – ability to quickly understand and transition between different projects, concepts, initiatives, or work streamsJudgment – exercises prudence and insight in decision-making process while mindful of other stakeholders and long-term ramificationsOrganization – ability to manage projects and activity, and prioritize tasksOther Requirements:Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
