HR Generalist-Manufacturing
Mechanic Falls, ME
Type Direct Hire
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days
We are looking for an ambitious HR Generalist who isn't looking for just another job, but a career trajectory. What You'll Do
Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities
Administer new hire orientation and employee training programs
Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and confidential
Assist with benefits administration and employee leave programs
Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, and performance management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies
Support payroll and timekeeping processes as needed
Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3+ years of Human Resources experience required
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
Knowledge of federal and Maine employment laws
Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus
