Job description

SummitNext is looking for a proactive and responsible HR Intern to join our Human Resources team and provide administrative and operational support. This is a remote internship where you will work closely with the HR team on daily HR activities, including employee documentation, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and leave administration. It is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Administration

Assist with maintaining and updating digital employee records.

Prepare and organise HR documents and letters.

Ensure HR records are complete and properly maintained.

2. Attendance & Leave Administration

Assist in checking employee attendance records.

Support leave administration and documentation.

Follow up with employees on missing or incomplete supporting documents.

Assist with attendance-related reports.

3. Recruitment Support

Coordinate interview schedules.

Assist with recruitment documentation and candidate follow-ups.

Support pre-employment and onboarding documentation.

4. Onboarding & Offboarding

Assist with preparing onboarding documents.

Support new employee documentation and HRIS updates.

Assist with exit and clearance documentation.

5. Employee Support

Assist the HR team in responding to general employee queries.

Follow up on outstanding HR requests.

Escalate employee matters to the appropriate HR team member when required.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

6. General HR Support

Provide administrative support to the HR team.

Assist with HR projects, virtual engagement activities, and internal communications.

Support audits and documentation exercises.

Perform other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of HR processes.

Familiarity with HRIS systems is an advantage.

Good written and spoken English.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Own laptop and stable internet connection.
