HR AssistantA growing life sciences company in North County is looking for an organized and personable HR Assistant to join its People Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants exposure to the full employee lifecycle and is ready to grow beyond traditional administrative work. You'll support recruiting, onboarding, employee records, HRIS updates, and day-to-day employee needs while working closely with an experienced HR team.What You'll DoCoordinate new-hire onboarding from offer acceptance through the employee's first dayPrepare and maintain employee personnel filesProcess employment documentation, background checks, and I-9sUpdate employee information in the HRISSchedule interviews and communicate with candidatesAssist with job postings and recruiting coordinationCoordinate new-hire orientations and training sessionsTrack employee status changes, transfers, and terminationsAssist employees with basic HR questions and direct more complex issues appropriatelySupport benefits enrollment and employee communicationsPrepare HR reports and spreadsheetsMaintain confidential HR recordsAssist with employee engagement initiativesSupport the HR team with special projects and process improvements
