Human Resources AssistantThe Human Resources Assistant will be responsible to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department in the areas of benefits, onboarding, systems management, data reporting, employee relations and credentialing.Responsibilities1. Responsible to assist Human Resources Generalist with Benefits AdministrationResponds to benefits questions from staffReconciles and processes vendor reports and invoicesAssists with compliance audits2. Responsible to assist Recruiter with coordination of site visits and community tours.3. Responsible to assist with new hire onboardingEnsures new hire paperwork is complete and entered into HRISEnsures requisition and submissions are completed for equipment and systems requests for new hiresAssists with communication to new hires regarding onboardingSends out new hire "Welcome to the Team" cards to hiring managersAssists with new hire orientation preparation/setupInitiates new hire orientation surveyAssists with new hire announcements4. Responsible to perform general clerical dutiesPicks up and rounds department mail dailyPrepares correspondence and meeting minutesScans, indexes and verifies employee records into electronic document retrieval systemSchedules meeting, appointments and cateringAssists with systems login resetsDocuments staff call-ins and initiates attendance warning letters5. Other Human Resources SupportAssists in ordering of department supplies and business cardsAssists with coordination of department recognitions and new hire apparelResponsible to ensure issuance and tracking of new hire 90-day and 6-month apparelAssists with printing of employee identification badgesAttends meetings and prepares meeting minutes and action items.Participates in cross-functional teamsOther Duties:Assist in employee and organization events as assignedPromotes a positive work culture and uphold clinic policies and procedures, including the WE CARE standards of BehaviorMust uphold confidentiality at all times in regards to CBHA activities, reports, financials, patient health information and other proprietary information specific to CBHAOther duties as assignedQualificationsProfessional and Technical Knowledge:Possesses general work-related skills at a higher level than completion of high school, including written and verbal communication skills, computation and computer skills, and mathematical knowledge frequently acquired through completion of an Associate's degree program.HRCI or SHRM certification or ability to achieve per HRCS/SHRM certification requirements.Technical Skills:Ability to prepare more complex documents in Microsoft Word, including creating tables, charts, graphs and other elements.Ability to use Microsoft Excel to analyze data, including the use of formulas, functions, lookup tables and other standard spreadsheet elements.Ability to create basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.Ability to learn and use other systems to support the functions of the Human Resources department.Communication Skills:Job duties require the employee to effectively communicate basic or non-technical information to co-workers and others.Job duties require the effective communication of information in written (including electronic) correspondence.Job duties require the effective communication of information during informal and formal verbal presentations.Possesses excellent cross cultural communication skills Travel:Frequent travel to various clinic sites is required.Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurance standards to drive company vehicle.
