Human Resources AssociateAs a Human Resources Associate, you'll guide employees and managers through HR policies and help them find clear, supportive solutions. provide recommendations and guidance to departments regarding accommodation approvals and denialsManage leave case administration, including FMLA, Parental Leave, Donations of Leave, and Short- and Long-Term Disability, ensuring compliance with laws and policies; advise employees and management on rights, obligations, and procedures, and maintain accurate and thorough documentation throughout each caseReview, audit, and edit employee timecards to ensure accurate payroll processing; verify and apply correct leave coding for all leave case types; coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies; and oversee leave without pay approvals in accordance with policyPrepare complex and sensitive HR correspondence, documents, and forms that support personnel actions, position management, compensation, and payroll; review materials for accuracy, completeness, and policy complianceMaintain records, spreadsheets, and reports for HR activities in compliance with department policies and procedures, and conduct research, compile statistical data, and prepare reports to support management decision-makingDesign and deliver engaging training modules tailored to organizational needs, and participate in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, audits, and related projectsServe as a backup to HR Analysts by providing guidance and recommendations on complex Human Resources matters, including personnel management, selection processes, discipline, leave issues, and grievance resolutionWith direct guidance and direction from an HR Business Partner or HR Manager, support managers and employees with employee relations concerns and assist with investigations by gathering information and preparing reports for disciplinary or grievance-related actionsWorking Conditions:Work will occur in an office and field environment and may be exposed to loud noise, noxious odors, unsanitary conditions, chemicals, electricity, moving mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, fumes, dust, mists, gases, poor ventilation, and other related conditions and situationsThis position is eligible for hybrid flexibility after a brief training periodManual dexterity to operate computers and office equipment;
