HR Coordinator – Contract (2–3 Months)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator for a 2–3-month contract engagement to support day-to-day human resources operations. This individual will play an important role in coordinating the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on pre-employment activities, onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Employment Coordination: Manage pre-employment processes, including background checks, employment verifications, reference checks, drug screenings, and required employment documentation.
Onboarding: Coordinate all aspects of the new hire onboarding process, including preparing offer and new hire paperwork, collecting required documentation, entering employee information into HR systems, and ensuring completion of onboarding requirements.
New Hire Orientation: Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, ensuring employees receive necessary information regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace expectations.
Offboarding: Coordinate employee departures, including exit paperwork, termination documentation, system notifications, and communication with relevant departments regarding access, equipment, and final employment requirements.
Employee Records: Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, ensuring documentation is complete and properly organized.
Qualifications
Experience in human resources coordination or HR administration.
Previous experience supporting pre-employment screening, onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding.
Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism. xhqgsiq
