Human Resources Director (HRD) / HR Generalist

Full-Time
Redmont Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Director (HRD) / HR Generalist to join our leadership team.
This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees and department leaders while managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, retention, and day-to-day human resources operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day human resources operations for the facility.
Manage recruitment, applicant screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning.
Support employee relations, coaching, performance management, corrective action, and retention initiatives.
Maintain employee personnel files and required HR documentation.
Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, and employee inquiries.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and applicable healthcare requirements.
Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
Track staffing, turnover, retention, vacancies, and other workforce metrics.
Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and organizational information.
Support leadership with HR-related concerns, investigations, documentation, and employee matters.
Help foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Staffing, or Workforce Management required.
Previous experience as an HR Director, HR Generalist, HR Manager, Recruiter, Staffing Coordinator , or similar HR role preferred.
Healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of employment law, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
Comfortable partnering with facility leadership and employees at all levels of the organization.
