Human Resources Generalist – Manufacturing
Mesa, AZ | Full-Time | On-Site | $70,000–$82,000
A fast-growing manufacturing facility in Mesa, AZ is looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who thrives in a high-energy production environment. This role is the main HR point of contact for employees and supervisors across all shifts, with a strong focus on employee relations, leave management, HR operations, and supporting plant leadership. Backup payroll support is included but is not the primary focus.

What You'll Do
Be the visible HR presence on the production floor — walk the plant, connect with employees, and build trust
Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues, questions, and HR support
Manage day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, coaching supervisors, attendance, and leaves (FMLA, LOA, etc.)
Support recruitment for manufacturing, technical, and support roles
Coordinate onboarding, training, safety orientations, and compliance programs
Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files, and documentation
Provide backup payroll support during peak periods or absences
What You Bring
2–3 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Experience supporting payroll processes (ADP, Paycom, Paychex, etc.)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and xhqgsiq relationship-building skills
Comfort working in a 24-hour, fast-paced, rapidly growing production environment
Ability to walk the plant regularly and engage with employees
Preferred: Bilingual English/Mandarin, HRIS experience, PHR/SHRM-CP
Work Environment
Manufacturing facility with PPE requirements, machinery, and active production lines
Regular walking and visibility on the plant floor
Non-union environment
