HR InternRaycap, Inc., is an industry leader in manufacturing solutions for telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense and other applications.Under the guidance of the HR team, the HR Intern will support the department in various HR functions, including recruitment tracking, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative tasks. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in HR operations, develop professional skills, and understand organizational HR practices. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen interest in human resources management.Requirements:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of HR principles and practicesProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to handle confidential information with discretionStrong organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrior internship or experience in HR or administrative roles is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPrimary Job Responsibilities:Support with development of onboarding and training of new hires in manufacturing.Maintain and handle sensitive employee records with strict confidentialityEnsure compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, EEO, ERISA, AAP (if applicable), and participate in mandated reportingProvide excellent customer service and support to employeesPlan and coordinate internal employee engagement eventsKeep employee records and HR databases current and accurateSupport the preparation of HR reports and management documentationCreate badges for new hires and set up time clock systemsRespond to employee inquiries related to HR policies and processesAssist with special projects as assignedRaycap is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
