Job description
Bishop Center is looking for a Human Resources/Payroll Assistant in Syracuse NY.
Duties:
Assists employees with basic HR/payroll questions and issues in person, on phone and email.
Assist in coordinating daily and weekly payroll time records, accurately inputting required data into payroll system.
Assist in all employee benefits processes, including input in systems, filing and answering basic questions.
Assist with input and maintenance of professional licensing and other required documentation.
Assist in new hire and orientation processes including preparation of folders and materials, badging and related duties.
Helps maintain accurate filing processes of all employee personnel folders and documents.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources
Requirements:
Must have prior experience in a busy HR and/or Payroll setting.
Computer literacy including MS Office. Exposure to HR/Payroll systems
Must utilize extreme confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Inter-personal, organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
