Payroll/HR Mgr.
Transdev in Salinas, CA, is hiring a Payroll/Human Resource Manager. This position assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll and HR functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. This position is 100% on-site!
Transdev is proud to offer:
Competitive compensation package of minimum $80,000 - Maximum $100,000
Benefits include:
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
Sick days: 5 days
Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
Other standard benefits include a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:
Process new employee files and submit paperwork for approval.
Calculate and input payroll for drivers and staff.
Track attendance for part-time employees.
Handle fare reconciliation and deposits.
Assist in tracking and reducing overtime.
Full-cycle recruiting: review applications, schedule interviews, and hire candidates.
Create and maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork.
Manage payroll, leaves of absence, and FMLA tracking.
Educate employees on benefits.
Ensure compliance with background checks, drug screens, and E-Verify.
Support transfer requests and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
College coursework in a related field preferred.
Computer-literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical, if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
The work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
